Turkey Craw Pole Bean Seeds

This Heirloom historical pole bean has an interesting history.  It is said that the original seed was found by a hunter inside the craw of a turkey! This is a healthy resistant pole bean with beautiful brown and tan flecked seeds inside.  We would describe the taste as a robust meaty flavor.  These pods are great as fresh snap beans, for steaming, canning, and freezing.  Our customers at the farmers market were quick to become repeat customers as it became a new favorite for many. These beans are packed in a Safety Seed resealable envelope.  Remember that pole beans are a space saver by growing vertically. Maturity: about 65 days.
